FEZ Polytron Coporation 2012
This game is seriously underrated, and one of my favourite platformers ever! I bought it on release, and it took me ages to complete…because its hard, full of puzzles, and bloody brilliant. Watching Indie Game- The Movie just made me appreciate it even more. If you haven’t played it, you have to! Its a damn clever game and Phil Fish did an amazing job; the years of work were worth it, and I think I’m going to have to give it another play through!

So, I just screen printed this from Amazon UK. Look at the prices. That is FROM those prices, meaning every other listing is even higher.
So here we have the other sellers of NEW versions. THREE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE ENGLISH POUND AND NINETY NINE PENCE. WOULD ANYONE REALLY PAY THAT? Does the seller think that they can actually sell it at that price? Is it just a really awful typo? For all of you Americans out there, that is roughly $649.27. For a videogame.
So I’m going to go ahead and throw this out there for all of you gamer types out there- would you be willing to pay THAT much for a videogame? Reply or drop it in my ask box!
Never listen to your other half while playing Sims.
Charles was sitting by my side when his “Sim self” discovered a new star! I figured since it was his, he should name it (as you do) and he said “My Giant Testicle” so that’s what I called it. Now, when Charles’ Sim self talks to people, you can select an option which says “Talk about my giant testicle”

I’m a famous weatherwoman and my husband is a top neurodoctor. We earn §4000 a day, if not more. We have an adopted daughter named Sharona who’s sorta Mexican looking, but she has Halloween themed clothes which is cute. She’s super intelligent and always does well in school and gives Charles a run for his money at chess!
We have a big house with a swimming pool and the most amazing bedroom with a 4 poster bed. All our friends are dying but it’s okay because we’re making younger, cooler friends, including Charles’ boss who lives next door. She has a mowhawk. I earn loads of money from writing books and articles about sexy sexy things. We’re both so good at painting and cooking, people often phone us up to help them out and then pay us loads!
I recently bought a hot beverage maker which makes pretty much every amazing sugary chocolatey, banana-y, strawberry-y, chai, coffee, anythingaccino.
We’re living the dream!
Well, I’m currently working my way through Sims 3 for Xbox 360!
First of all I noted the loading times; as with all Sims games, loading times can be a bit of a problem so for those playing the Xbox version, I would recommend you install the game in order to help it run better and keep the noise down.
I jumped right into the creation of my Sims and was pleasantly surprised at just how customisable various aspects are. Of course you can go with presets of faces, clothes and what not, however, I opted to make myself and my other half as accurately as possible (because of course, this is the best thing about Sims). You can also fine tune the age of your Sim from baby to O.A.P. I went for “young adult”.
Hair colours are great to tweak; my hair is purple, blue and turquoise and I was able to put in these colours as I wished with the aid of a colour slider. There are also pre-set colour swatches for those who don’t want to faff about.
I also changed the colouring, patterns and materials of my clothing. There are, quite frankly, ridiculous amounts of options when it comes to creating your Sim’s looks.
Next comes assigning your Sim’s personality traits. There was a huge list to choose from, pertaining much to the style of the original PC games that everyone loves.
After all of the creating was done, I moved my Sims into their first home. I am incredibly pleased to say this game is currently playing out much like the old PC games rather than the console ports. The console ports for PS2 and Gamecube were fun of course, but were very much lacking compared to the PC versions and due to lack of expansions for the console versions, play time was very short. However, I have very high hopes for the Xbox version.
So far, I’m really enjoying Sims 3, and will keep you updated on how I go!
As a side note, I want to point out that you can also now have more than one floor to a building. I really really am in heaven! :P
