Brighton Japan - Asahi Anime Festival
This is the 3rd year of the anime festival, and 4th year there have been japanese related festivals happening in Brighton, and we’ve attended every year so far!
This year was set out a little differently, but I’ll just go over the 25th for now.
So, we turned up on Saturday, it was very grey out, so we were expecting it to rain again, but it brightened up a little through the day :)
There seemed to be less stalls than previous years, but it may be that they were all under a tent together. I had withdrawn and set a side a fair amount of money assuming I’d spend loads, but I don’t think I actually bought anything of any palbability, only a drink. So, that was a surprise. Although tempted by a couple of Terrataf shirts and a few dvd boxsets from United Publications, I didn’t get anything.
Roxie Sweetheart was also there, but she didn’t recognise me! So… rather than introducing myself (as I’m bad at that) I kept walking past hoping she’d realise who I was! XD
Anyway, we sort of gave up doing a lot there because it ended up being a little boring, so we had a very quick chat to Nu and then had dinner in the restaurant before heading home.
Before actually getting home, we nipped into Cyberdog to wish a very sickly Popi some get well vibes, although I am also pretty ill right now >.< although being ill is horrible, it always makes me a feel a little better knowing someone else is the same ^^’ haha
Anyway, I’ll leave you with a photo of me and Nu :) please bear in mind I am ill so look dazed as hellll! XD
