My answers :)

* What was your style, influences, and goals, 5-10 years ago vs now?
5-10 years ago, I was going through secondary school. I had big hopes of becoming some sort of artistic designer- be it a fashion designer, makeup artist or such. On the other hand I also really loved writing and my dream in terms of writing was to become a permanent journalist for some of my favourite magazines (music magazines, reviewing gigs etc). My main influences were a little erratic including very heavy inspiration from goth bands and such, I was very much a little goth kid, socially awkward, shy and timid. I was just beginning to discover Japanese fashion in a big way after discovering anime as a small child and my style began to develop from that moment on; however, at the ages of about 9-14, I never managed to feel like I looked good!



* What do you like about yourself most now?
I like that these days I am content. I’m not hugely happy, but I’m not really sad either and I live for the moment. I’m now a person who doesn’t dwell in the past (or at least tries not to) because so much crap happened when I was younger, it’s unhealthy to dwell on those things. I like that I am in a stable relationship, a stable job and a stable household. I like that I find it easier to overcome things now I have a more mature way of thinking.



* In one word, who were you 5-10 yrs ago?
Doormouse.

Cupcake Day!

Today I went off to Brighton to meet up with the lovely Cookie, Kunoichi and Nu :)

Despite only being able to stay for a short while, it was really nice ^^

Started the day braving the wet, cold weather, and after finally arriving at Brighton station, an old lady started talking to me (because I attract old people, I obviously look nice and talkative ^^’)

But she was lovely and was talking to me about the old pier games with fortune tellers and palm readers, and then comparing them to real life ones, how she wanted to work in the theatre (she did have a very theatrical air about her I must say) and how I should strive to do my best in whatever I do, meet new people and above all, enjoy myself :) then she met up with her old friend from school who became a successful journalist. It was wonderful X3

I guess I’ll show you my very tiny haul :P

I got some new short pink Biosox to go over my long black Biosox in the same pattern :)

I also got some ALOE VERA KING drink <3 and almond Pepero. Korea may not have the best music (IMO) but damn their drinks and sweets are good!

We popped into Cyberdog and saw Popi which is always nice :) she only just noticed I have fangs ^^’

After meeting up with Nu, we went to Yo Sushi (our original plan to go to Pom Poko was foiled by horrendously noisy roadworks RIGHT OUTSIDE THE RESTAURANT ARGRGHHHHH) where we ate very iny amounts since the food is so expensive >_< it was nice though :P

Thennnn Nu took us to the most adorable cupcake shop I’d ever seen :)

Just before we went in, a guy asked to take our photos ^^’ it was a little odd since he seemed like he really didn’t want to do it haha.

We all got cupcakes together; I believe Kunoichi got a lemon daisy mini cupcake, Cookie got a chocolate whoopie pie, Nu got a mini chocolate heart cupcake and I got 2 chocolate orange cupcakes :3

Unfortunately it was time for me to head back to the station soon after this :(

But was a lovely time nonetheless :)

It was just a really really nice day, even though it was cold :P
