Purple, lightweight material.
Will post anywhere!
Brand new without tags, worn once to try them on.
I’ll be taking offers, but starting bid at £25.
Very light so low postage!
These are not made or sold anymore! I bought them a long while back from the website, but tried them on and they were too big and it was too late to send them back. They are a size SMALL but I think they are more size 12-14. The waistband measures about 34-36 inches.
The lovely Heather (-nova) recently sent me a blue MAC eyeshadow!
I was super excited to open it up and see what it was like; I’ve never used MAC before so wasn’t sure what to expect.
The packaging is nice and simple looking and the shadow is in a compact style- the top has the shadow and underneath there is a mirror and sponge applicator. This is a really nice touch in my opinion, as many eyeshadows don’t have this level of detail. However, it’s not massively useful for me as I use my fingers as makeup weapons!
See, pretty nice! It doesn’t look very shimmery in the pot, and looks quite dark compared to how it comes out on skin.
It’s very buildable (lightest to darkest from right to left to bottom!) and comes out more shimmery than it looks in the pot, but not too much. This is also with flash.
And this is how it looks in daylight actually on my eyes.
The first I used a fair few layers of it, and then layered some purple eyeshadow over the top of one section.
The second I only used one layer and again swept over part with the same purple.
The third I used white pencil eyeliner as a main base, then layered some turquoise/aqua pencil liner over part of that. I layered a small amount of the MAC shadow on top, and then lined my lashline with the same aqua pencil liner.
With all 3, I found that it did crease quite badly, but the colour stayed true for a fair while. I may need to invest in a decent primer (really want to get my mits on the Urban Decay Primer Potion, I shall have it one day!) and see how it works then!
But for now, I would say that this shadow is a really nice colour, great buildability(?) and it does stay put for a good 4 or so hours before beginning to crease.
I don’t often do outfit posts because I can’t get a good enough angle/photo to show it off properly. Plus, I am a pretty lazy dresser on most days.
However, today, I just had to put this together.
Excuse my feet XD
I recently got the new short lilac pencil playsuit from Cyberdog (I also have it in black) and it’s just adorable. The new material they are using on these ones is lovely- very forgiving especially after eating a large meal! This material stretches a little and is easy to move in.
I figured purple and green are perfect together so dug out my old green tights to wear with the playsuit. I forgot how horrible and bobbled they are (beyond repair) so I turned them inside out to reveal a lovely smooth surface like the day I got them.
I then fished out my old Oscar the Grouch shirt. It works perfectly together I think :)
Favourite outfit of the last month :D
