I know I’m not all that active on here, but I’m glad you’ve all stuck around!
Any skin care recommendations?
My skin has been awful of late, I fear it has something to do with my really really awful diet, but my skin care regime (or there lack of) probably has a hand in it also.
As I am now over 18 and not in full time education, I have to pay for my prescriptions (which often cost more than over the counter remedies these days) so asking the doctors is out of the question, especially since the last 5 or 6 times I have been about my skin they give me a treatment that lasts about a week to a month and then just gives up.
I’ve tried Clean and Clear which is far too harsh for my skin, I’ve tried Oxy which is also incredibly damaging and drying because of the various chemical ingredients. I’ve also tried numerous own brand supermarket skin care.
The most expensive skin care products I have tried have been from The Body Shop and Clearasil. The Body Shop products are really good and do seem to help maintain the current state of my skin, but they don’t seem to actually make it any better as such.
I’d like to try Clinique and Laneige, however, they are incredibly expensive.
So, I’m going to leave this open to anyone who wants to reply;
